- Summary
- An unexpected gift from a god throws businesswoman Sian Kattë's world into chaos. Her life had settled into a comfortable if unexciting routine: maintaining her loveless marriage to Arouf, directing the public-facing areas of their cloth company, and even meeting a lover on the sly. But a priest ofthe Broken God has passed to Sian the power to heal anyone she touches, a power that could prove inconvenient to the local priesthood, whose members claim she is a fraud. As political turmoil erupts on her island nation, Sian tries desperately to get to the seat of authority where she believes she is meant to heal the heir to the throne
